I mentioned there were two animated 'Hellboy' films in the works when I posted about 'The amazing screw-on head' the other day. I've been following the progress over at the blog here.

A teaser trailer (probably the same one they're showing at comi-con) has appeared online at the official site gotohellboy.com , here's a direct link to the quicktime trailer link

I personally prefer the true-to-comic style of screw-on head, but this looks like it could be pretty cool too, and it has Ron Perlman and Selma Blair reprising their roles to do some voice work. This trailer is for the first film 'Sword of Storms' and they're in the middle of putting together the second film 'Blood and Iron' so it may be a while until we see anything moving, but it's still worth keeping an eye on their blog.
