Sweet ‘Good Shepherd’ poster

The Good Shepard PosterThe UK quad for the new political thriller 'The Good Shepherd' has appeared over at impawards. It looks like they're trying to pay homage to the spy/paranoia movies of the 60's and 70's, movies like 'The Conversation' and 'The Manchurian Candidate'. The film stars Matt Damon, Robert De Niro and a raft of other great character actors and charts the birth of the CIA.

The plot sounds really interesting and like the kind of movie that's going to sneak up on people especially come awards season. I haven't seen a lot of marketing hype surrounding the film so I'm guessing they're relying on good word of mouth.

    DeNiro plays a slimy CIA PR man in WAG THE DOG and now he’s an apologist for the CIA in THE GOOD SHEPHERD? PLEASE!!
