More from the set of ‘30 days of Night’
I think at one point I might have been moaning about video blogs, they're too short and they don't show you anything of worth, but the fact is I keep checking back to the Ghosthouse pictures site to see when they post a new one, so whatever they're doing it's keeping me watching.
So a new but brief video is up on the Ghosthouse site featuring a set visit from Ben Templesmith (co-creator of the '30 Days of Night' property), and Chris Ryall (the publisher behind the original '30 days of Night' books). The only thing I think is interesting in the clip is we get to see some more shots of the 'Barrow, Alaska' set looking barren and very cold. For those who haven't caught any of my coverage so far, or are just unfamiliar with the plot:
An isolated Alaskan town(Barrow) is plunged into darkness for a month each year when the sun sinks below the horizon. As the last rays of light fade, the town is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires bent on an uninterrupted orgy of destruction. Only the small town's husband-and-wife Sheriff team stand between the survivors and certain destruction.
Directing honours were awarded to David Slade, the man behind 'Hard Candy', and hence I'm really looking forward to what he's going to turn out with this.
