Every other day there's a new story about how they're remaking a film I love, mosty I just ignore it and hope it goes away, If I shut my eyes and wish really hard maybe it actually won't happen. Or at the very least I can forget about it, not watch the remake and it won't tarnish my view of the original.

It appears the the hilariously named Rock Shaink Jr will be remaking the 80's horror film 'The Hidden' now retitled 'The Seed'. The original starred Kyle MacLachlan and Michael Nouri and had an absolutely killer plot, that basically involved a space slug kidnapping peoples bodies (through the mouth no less) and then making them run rampage in LA, the best part about it all was 'the alien' made it's host steal really fast cars (mainly Ferraris), listen to rock music and score with hot women. In short, it was a slice of 80's genius.

The remake will star actor Neal McDonough (from 'The Hitcher' remake) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill) and is said to be only loosely based on the original.

I'm pretty sure I have space slug inside me, it came with a t-shirt that said 'No fat chicks'
