I didn't mean to sound so surprised with the title of this post, I enjoyed the teaser trailer (well.. thought it was novel at least) but it's a low budget sequel that appears to be rehashing the plot of the first film, with more people (read: Mutant Fodder) and a cheaper director. If you do your movie maths correctly that all adds up to 'crap'. After viewing the trailer I am swayed, while I can't say I'll be there on opening night I may actually hand over the cash to go and see the film in the cinema.

A team of National Guard cadets stops over at a desert outpost to deliver equipment to some military scientists. They arrive at the research camp to find it mysteriously deserted. Hearing a distress call on their walkies, they set off on what they think is a simple rescue mission into the hills - only to find a tribe of mutants, damaged by nuclear testing, who lie in wait for them…

Yeahhhp like I said.. rehash. Although I'd rather have the same plot rehashed than have to sit through another 'beginning' horror-origins movie, oh and if you haven't seen 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning' don't…. It's a bag of ass.
