Nice ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’ Poster
This is the new poster for ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force colon movie film for theatres’, I love it. Do I like fantasy art? no, do I like things that mock fantasy art? yes.
For those that are unaware ATHF is a cartoon on ‘Adult Swim’ the late night selection of cartoons shown on Cartoon Network in the states, and Bravo here in the UK. You may have also heard about it due to the recent ‘mooninites = terrorism‘ happenings in atlanta (Guerilla marketing company hung up mooninte LED signs, people thought they were bombs.)

It’s mocking the poster of Army of Darkness (see the chainsaw ‘homage’?), which isn’t funny, since Army of Darkness mocked fantasy art with it’s poster.

Why isn’t it funny? It’s not mocking the army of darkness poster directly it’s mocking fantasy art, just as Army of Darkness was, and the same as National Lampoons Vacation did way before any of them.
