There’s been loads of clips from upcoming movies released recently, but today it’s gone hogshit wild. Lets kick it all off with some clips from ‘Black Snake Moan’.

Still a film i’m looking forward to seeing, but the of the trailer started to make me a little uneasy. They’re marketing it with an exploitation kind of look (just take a peak at the posters, and to the left) but that doesn’t appear to reflect the film much, it feels quite realistic and is starting to give me an uneasy feeling. You know I like the whole ‘women in prison’/ ‘Chained Heat’ genre but when it’s missing that sexploitation edge that seperates it from reality it just comes off feeling misogynisitic and a bit sleazey.

That being said the reports from Sundance were overwhelmingly positive, and these new clips actually seem to combat the feeling I was getting from the trailer, so i’m holding off any judgement until I see the full film.
