I’ve yet to see the new David Lynch film ‘Inland Empire’, but the consensus i’m hearing seems to be very much divided. As i’ve mentioned before with David Lynch films, and often with Lynch in general you either love him or hate him, there’s no middle ground. Either way I think he’s an interesting guy to hear talk about his work; he’s done some weird shit to promote the film, and his distribution method for Inland Empire was basically driving around to theatres with the print in the back of his car. Also he still does the LA weather report from his kitchen everyday (bottom right button), so even if you don’t like his films you have to have some respect for the guys maverick nature.
