There’s films i’ve been excited about like ‘300‘ and ‘Grindhouse‘ that have been on slow-burn for a while with lots of video and stills hitting the net long before the films are due for release. Then there’s films like ‘Sunshine’ that have snuck up on me ninja-style out of nowhere, and while I initially had no interest in it, now i’m checking the official site everyday to look for new developments. One thing I can’t quite get over is how incredibly beautiful the film is looking, it’s really blowing me away anytime I see anything new. I liked the grainy DV look in ‘28 Days Later’ but i’m visually obsessed and the slick look of ‘Sunshine’, well, it has me by the short-and-curlies.

The films UK release date still seems to be set for April 6th, but cinematical reports the film has been pushed back in the US to autumn 2007.
