He would seem a lot more suitable in my opinion. The story takes place over a good few years, and in general it's easier for a 30 year old to wear a baseball cap and a college blazer for the younger years a la Grease, Scream, Berverly Hills 90210, okay ALL US teen drama's over the past 30 years, than for a 12 year old to draw a six pack on his stomach with felt tip and crasft a beard out of spare pubic hair? A film would be interesting though, if just to see which hot young Hollywood starlets are willing to have one of their breasts CGI-ed off in order to play the 'Amazon' women.
