Oscar (now officially 5) reviews ‘Mr Bean’s Holiday’
I haven’t written about Mr Bean’s Holiday.. for obvious reasons. The film didn’t interest me in the slightest, and still doesn’t. Once again Oscar (5 years old) gets all up in my face and tells me I’m an idiot, and that he knows best.
Although unlike his love for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ he seems to actually have some criticisms this time around.
“My favourite bit was when Mr Bean copies the boy to try to be his friend. But it just doesn’t work. What works is that it makes me laugh. Also Mr Bean closed and opened his eyes to try to make the boy laugh. He stuck bits of paper on his eyes and on his mouth. This doesn’t work and the boy slaps him because he doesn’t find it funny. But I did.
Mr Bean is great when he pretends to do some singing in the streets because he needs some money to call the boy’s Dad up. The boy lost his Dad so he needs to call him. And the bit where Mr Bean dresses as a Grandma that’s funny too. The music is awesome because they play Mr Bombastic is Fantastic. And you can learn French too.”
