Ok we’ve got Russel Crowe, we’ve got Christian Bale, but I think the real discovery for most people will be Ben Foster. An actor that started in rubbish teen-movies as ‘boy next door’ type, but has now graduated into playing nothing but full-on cut-your-cock-off-with-a-box-knife psychopath parts. He’s playing ‘The Stranger’ in ‘30 days of Night’ and looks amazing in that, he was a firebug teenager in ‘Hostage’ and played a psychotic, drug dealing, tattooed nutcase in ‘Alpha Dog’. Hopefully this part will bring him the proper recognition he deserves.
