New trailer for ‘Rogue’ still looks rubbish
Once again the rule applies *No matter how good you want something to be, somethings are destined to be shit*, I’m willing to try the film as ‘innocent until proven guilty’… but my initial urge is that it’s going to be rubbish. Still it’s much better than the first trailer
The one bit I do like is when the croc jumps out of the water, grabs the dude and flings him up in the air, but that was done better in ‘Deep Blue Sea’ with the Sam Jackson speech ‘n’ grab. Plus you know when your film is ripping off Rennie Harlin you’ve got problems.
This film actually sounds like its ripping of a Roger Corman straight to DVD film called “Dino-Croc” which I saw at a cafe in Thailand once. The best (or worst, depending on point of view) part of the film was when this 8 year old boy goes looking for his brother and ends up being decapitated by the crocodile, sending his severed head flying into the air towards the camera. I doubt Rogue will top that. Plus they should change the name, every time I see the title I keep thinking its an X-men spin-off.
Haha.. that sounds amazing. I saw a film called ‘Blood Surf’ which needs to get award for ‘most promised, least delivered on’ film of all time.. It was about a group of ‘extreme’ surfers (played by two of the worst actors i’ve ever seen) that went on some remote island, and poured chum in the water and then go surfing… aka avoiding sharks while surfing. Its total rubbish.
